Happy New Year Giveaway!!

Hello lovely people!

I just wanted to start this New Year off with a little note on the importance of family. After spending the best Christmas for many years with my wonderful family including my new husband :) in my parents cosy, small holding in West Wales, I truly realise how important my family are to me, everyone pulls together to help a family member in need and support them through the good times and the bad times, they are always there no matter what happens. So thank you to the Cliffs and the Woods for being ace!

Now I know that January can sometimes be a tough month so I thought I would cheer you all up with a New Year giveaway. This giveaway is to encourage you to feel inspired so to help you do that I am offering the chance to win a beautiful vintage teacup and saucer to drink your tea 'properly' in whilst you take a few moments to yourself and think about what you want to achieve this year and what your family mean to you as lets face it no matter what we do we will never fail if we have our family beside us!

  2. I think family is like a comfort blanket, there to pick up if we need that little bit extra care. Just knowing they are there. I'm very lucky to have them.

  3. Family means everything to me. It's what makes my life whole and fulfilling. I really believe that when a family is strong, the members can cope better with anything that life throws at them.

  4. I started my small cake business to be at home with my sons, one of whom has special needs and requires 24 hour supervision. The beauty of family is that no matter how large or small it is, they are your rock in times of need. My parents and husband are all I have, besides my sons. Without their strength and love, my abilities, time and energy would have diminished a long time ago. When I feel like giving up, my family has been the one to pick me up and encourage me, no matter what. People don't live forever, therefore I am blessed and feel fortunate to have the great relationships I have with my little family of six incredible people who love me as much as I love them.

  5. Family is so important, I loved how even though I had to work this Christmas Day as I am a carer, my family decided to open presents with me and celebrate on Christmas Eve instead, which meant so much to me. Family are the people who you never have to make excuses to for being you , as they just lvoe you anyway. I also love how every family has their own traditions and feel lucky to have been welcomed into my boyfriend's family and join in with their festivities over the holiday! xx

  6. My younger sister has just given birth to a beautiful baby girl Lily, isn't it odd how you can love a baby just for being born but people you meet throughout your life you learn to love... My family have driven me round the bend and back again many times in my life but I still love them, care for them and support them completely because they're my family. I get to see my niece all the time at the moment because i've let her and my sister move in with me until they find a place of their own and I would love to be able to give the beautiful Cup to my sister once she finds a house as a moving in present x

  8. Hi there.

    Done everything you've asked! Except... :~}

    Family to me, is everything. My little family, my daughters and my husband are what keeps me going. And I also have many good friends I would consider my family too. I have had many upsetting times with other people in my family, but it shows that friends really are the family you can chose.

    Lovely blog by the way. x

  10. Done and done! Now, about my family - we're a very small bunch, just me and my hubby and cats but we've a bun in the oven and I can't wait until March when she arrives! I'm a cake decorator and am so glad I'll be working from home so can look after her :) Family is the most important thing, but friends are a close second (and at least you can choose these!!). Thanx xx

  12. My family, where to begin! They bring me the most joy I could ever imagine - we are always there for eachother. My husband is often away with his job, he's a soldier, and he has missed too many birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas' and milestones of the children. My family always rally round and we save all the memories and photos of the day to share with him. Christmas is sometimes in September or February and birthday cakes are often not on the day but what really matters is making the most of the time that we do get together. Live without regrets and live for the moment!

  13. Me and my partner both come from very small families so there isnt alot of us but it doesnt matter how big or small your family is its about unconditional love that you feel for each other and being apart of something that is wonderfull. Although my family is small I wake up each day knowing that I am loved. Every chance I get I spend with my family and I am extremely grateful to have each and every one of them in my life. I am looking forward to the day when me and my partner bulild are own little family together.
